Not Real Smart - Agency

Not Real Smart (NRS) is an Australian agency for health practices and small businesses. It was founded by a Nurse Practitioner. We check health advertising against the Ahpra and TGA rules, set AI up safely, get businesses found on Google and in AI answers, and handle social media, websites, automation and admin. A trained person checks everything before it goes out - or doesn't go out. We protect against slop.

Overview

Not Real Smart is an Australian agency for health practices and small businesses, founded by a Nurse Practitioner. It sells consulting and hands-on work, live at notrealsmart.com.au since September 2026. Behind it sits the NRS console, a custom-built desk the work is delivered from. The console is still being built. The agency offers 181 public services across ten areas: Health advertising review against the Ahpra and TGA rules, with the rule behind each flag cited AI governance policies and AI set up inside the business Search, including being found on Google and Maps and in AI answers such as ChatGPT and Perplexity Social media and video content, shaped separately for each platform Websites with booking, payments and patient portals Automation of enquiries, reminders and follow-ups Business strategy and analysis Admin support Staff training and monthly care Tax, legal, insurance and clinical advice, and prescribing, are always referred to a licensed professional. Every job follows the same path: a 15-minute chat, then a look at the business before quoting on larger work, then a written quote. Payment is staged. Anything AI helped write is reviewed by a person, and health content is checked against the advertising rules. The job ends with a handover that includes staff training and written procedures, and monthly care is optional. The console underneath is built to manage many businesses from one place. It covers social publishing, approvals, a calendar, an inbox, an in-app video editor, automated Business Scans and Eve, the built-in assistant. It is designed so subscribers can later plug in their own AI, and each business's data stays separate from every other's. Why it exists. Most agencies can't safely advertise for regulated health businesses or put rules around how staff use AI. Not Real Smart builds those rules into the work from the first draft. Every plan it writes also says what to fix, what to automate, what should stay with a person and what isn't worth spending money on.

The problem it solves

A real marketing agency costs thousands a month and still needs briefing, chasing and checking. Doing it yourself means nights writing posts and guessing at strategy. And for health businesses there's a third problem: one wrong ad can trigger an AHPRA investigation. Not Real Smart solves all three — an agency's worth of AI specialists working to your strategy and budget, autonomously, with compliance checking and human approval gates built in, at software prices.

Who it's for

Business owners running their own marketing — especially Australian health business owners (clinics, allied health, NP-led practices) who need AHPRA/TGA-safe content, and multi-brand operators and founders who need an agency's output without an agency's retainer.
